Sport11 Boxing Gym
Now the boxing and Martial arts room has opened in the Sport11 SportsCenter!
We would like to welcome all of you who are interested in boxing and martial arts, whether you are a beginner or an advanced lerner, an amateur or a professional, a man or a woman.
If you would like to get rid of everyday stress and train your body and your mind at the same time, if you want stronger muscles and more stamina, then this is the place for you to visit!
Sports you may choose from
Boxing will develop your muscles in a balanced way. It will improve your stamina, your speed and your coordination. It will also speed up your reaction time and you will learn how to make snap decisions, improving the way your mind works. It is also going to teach you how to have self control, discipline and bravery. It helps you to get to know yourself, have control over yourself and how to keep fighting with all your might.
Thai box, also known as Muay Thay originated in Thailand and then spreaded all over the world. It is an ancient form of martial art and dates back to 700 years but 2000 years ago the soldiers of the Thai Royal Army were already applying it successfully in direct fights. Its style has been changing over the centuries but the basic principles and the traditions have remained unaltered. Its teachings are well adapting to the requirements of modern days. It will also help you with concentration and regular training will improve patience and perseverance. You will have an easier time handling our day-to-day conflicts and it will also help you with problem solving.
Opening hours of the room
You are welcome on Mondays and Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. You can use the room under the supervision of Szalma Zoltán who will also help your activity outside the scheduled classes.
Why is it good for you to have individual sessions?
It is easier for you to put it in your schedule, it’s more flexible. The trainer will have all his attention for you, will correct the problems, and you can go ahead at your own pace. This was your way to advance will be smoother and quicker. Compared to group trainings the efficiency will increase. The trainer will be there to help you every step of the way and will provide you with all the advice you need for improvement.
Thursday: 7.00-8.30 a.m. Box with Zoltán Szalma
Thursday: 6.00-7.30 p.m. Thai-box with Lelekács Csaba
Saturday: 10:00-11:00 a.m.
60 minutes: 8.500 Ft/ session
90 minutes: 12.000 Ft/ session
Szalma Zoltán – started boxing at the age of 10, in 1977 in the EVIG Sports Club. He first became national champion at the age of 14. Five times Hungarian champion in different age and weight categories. Was also part of the national team in light-middleweight. He is a master trainer with a degree from the Hungarian University of Physical Education. He was also working as a trainer at the Erdei Zsolt Boxing Academy. Since 2001 he has been working as a referee and an arbitror in boxing championships, also in World and European Championships.
Lelekács Csaba – he is 41, he is doing Thai-Box (Muay-Thai), K1 and Kick-Box. He is rated by the experts as the most successfull Hungarian thai boxer of all times. He became world champion for Hungary. He was born and raised in the Ukraine and his style is more of the Russian school which is a very effective style. He had many important triumphs during his carreer. Ha was part of the Ukranian and also of the Hungarian National team. He is a champion of both countries, Cup winner and world champion (IMAF) silver medalist in the world cup (1996, IMAF), bronz medalist in the 1998 World Championship.
